Koppers Wood Products are looking for an experienced Customer Operations/Dispatch Manager at our Manufacturing & Treatment Plant facility in Bunbury, WA.

About the role
In this role you'll manage the day to day operations of pole dispatch to meet customer requirements. Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee day to day dispatch of poles, ensuring compliance, safe work practices and customer requirements are met
- Liaise with stakeholders, attend meetings, respond to delivery/supply issues and arrange pole delivery
- Manage a team, providing induction, support and ongoing training and development
- Induct and monitor contractors, conduct safety observations and field audits as per customer requirements
- Participate in R&D, providing support on product and technology development
- Work within Budget and OH&S requirements
What are we looking for
- Experience in a similar role (similar industry preferred but not essential)
- Experience/senior role in a Health and Safety environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of Western Power supply contract including technical specification
- Comprehensive knowledge of Ironbark system
- Sound Mechanical understanding
- Understanding of budgeting, payroll, ordering and accounting principals
- Understanding of Timber Technology – treatment principles and practices, timber sizes and strengths
- Experience in people management and/or tertiary study in management
