We are seeking Labourers at our Round Wood Manufacturing & Treatment Plant facility in Takura, Hervey Bay.
The positions will start as Casual, with the opportunity to move to Permanent.
About the role
- Undertake tasks to ensure the correct fabrication, packing, strapping, tagging of fabricated pine & hardwood products
- Undertake the role with a strong awareness of the health & safety of yourself & others
- Monitory inventory & product quality, completing production & quality records
- Carry out daily plant adjustments & maintenance
- Work efficiently & contribute to a healthy team environment
- Undertake other duties as required
What are we looking for
- Previous experience as a Labourer (experience in similar industry ideal)
- Loader and forklift experience preferred
- General machine & labouring experience or aptitude
- Knowledge of the operation of Fabrication & Bundling stations
- Practical/plant maintenance skills
- Ability to work unsupervised & enjoy contributing to a productive team environment
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Demonstrated initiative and reliability with a strong work ethic
- Physically fit with a satisfactory pre-employment medical screening
